Porcellio Mix

The Porcellio Mix is a balanced bioactive substrate developed for active and fast growing Porcellio species. It offers a strong structural base while maintaining good moisture regulation and mineral availability.

The mix contains bio compost, woodchips, flake soil, leaf soil, moss, and activated carbon, combined with multiple calcium sources such as crushed limestone, limestone powder, eggshell powder, and sepia powder. Lava rock is added to improve airflow, structure, and drainage within the substrate.

This mix supports healthy activity levels, efficient decomposition, and long term enclosure stability. When used in a bioactive setup it remains stable for at least 12 months, and with living plants added it can last up to 24 months.
