Discover the beauty of the Orchid mantis (Hymenopus coronatus)—one of the most breathtaking mantids in the world. Known for their petal-like legs and brilliant white-pink coloration, these mantises mimic orchid flowers to hunt prey and stay hidden from predators.
Our Orchid mantises are captive-bred for health and sustainability, never wild-caught. They thrive on a diet of safe feeder insects such as flies and moths (never crickets), and with proper care can live up to 8–12 months depending on sex.
Ideal for experienced insect keepers, this species requires a warm, humid setup with good ventilation and vertical climbing space. Whether admired for their orchid-like camouflage or kept for breeding projects, Orchid mantises are a true jewel of any invertebrate collection.
