Formerly believed to belong to the Merulanella genus, the radiant Yellow Phoenix isopods have recently been correctly reclassified as Ardentiella sp., based on updated taxonomic research and breeding observations in the hobby.
Description
Ardentiella sp. “Yellow Phoenix” is a visually dazzling species featuring bright yellow or golden striping across a deep black body. Their glowing contrast and energetic movement give them a mythical firebird-like presence in a bioactive setup.
